Mission Bon Accueil inaugurated yesterday in Montreal the first free dental clinic for the poor.It will house the homeless, people without insurance who earn minimum wage and their children and immigrants without resources. Care will be provided by students of the Faculty of Dentistry, McGill University, under the supervision of their teachers.The official opening of the clinic, ultramodern premises of the Mission Bon Accueil, rue de Courcelle, was made possible through donations, the contribution of McGill University for equipment and funding from the Ministry of Quebec's health.
The CEO of the Mission Bon Accueil, Cyril Morgan, explained that "good oral hygiene is often out of reach for the poor. "
