Lions special teams take care of the Patriots

DOLLARD-DES-ABALONE - The Lions of Lake St. Louis have primed their home and away series against the Châteauguay Patriotes Friday night at Civic Complex Dollard-des-Ormeaux, their special teams allowing them to win a gain of 4 to 1.
The Big Cats scored three of their powerplay goals, nine power plays, while they milled their opponents in five of the 10 attacks which they have enjoyed in that game where officials were busy.
Duclair Anthony led the attack with two goals (23rd and 24th of the season), which earned him being named the first star RDS. Kurt Etchegary (17th) and Michael Matheson (12th) had launched the premises before the first period. Alexandros Soumak and Maxim each side has two assists
Only Maxim Tremblay with his 33rd-Lanthier, a summit in the circuit Gauthier was able to deceive the vigilance of the keeper, François Brassard in the second period. The latter, who faced 30 shots, set a new club record with his 13th win at home this season against one setback. With 21 victories this season, it is a gain near the franchise record of 22 set by Steve Vezina 1991-1992.

The Lions (25-11-2) will now visit these same Patriots on Sunday afternoon (14:30), Châteauguay.
