Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen will share the poster for the comedy My Mother's Curse, which will begin filming in the spring and the output is planned for 2012, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film tells the story of an inventor who travels the United States with his mother. On the way, the young man tries to sell its new product, and seeks to reunite her mother with one of her former lovers.
Upon completion, there is Anne Fletcher (27 Dresses, The Proposition) and the script by Dan Fogelman, who had already written the stories of animated films Cars, Volt and Rapunzel.
Barbra Streisand is in negotiations to produce, direct and star in a new adaptation of the musical Gypsy Broadway Venus (1962) on the ambitions of a mother who wants her daughter to be a Broadway star, inspired by a play on Broadway in 1959, according to the New York Post. The actress is currently on view in the comedy Little Fockers Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.
Seth Rogen, currently starring in The Green Hornet will also be in the credits of Paul, a science-fiction comedy about an alien with some sense of repartee, alongside Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Jane Lynch .
Seth Rogen is also part of the cast to other products planned for release during the year 2011: Live With It, a comedy where he co-starred with Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) and Anna Kendrick (Twilight Saga) and the original English version of Kung Fu Panda 2.
