A private plane belonging to the family of Tunisian President Zine Ben Ali deposed was seized Tuesday at Le Bourget airport, in Seine-Saint-Denis, it was learned from the Paris prosecutor.This seizure was made as part of the preliminary inquiry to identify the property held in France by former Tunisian president, following a complaint for corruption of three NGOs. The investigation was entrusted to the Central Office for the Suppression of the large financial crime (OCRGDF) and anti-money laundering unit of the Ministry of Economy.
Complainants, Sherpa NGO, Transparency International and the Arab Commission for Human Rights, believe that the Tunisian President and his family have fallen in many buildings in the beautiful neighborhoods of Paris and wealthy communities, as well as major banking assets.
