Grugger wakes quietly

Dipped in a coma for five days, the Austrian Hans Grugger will start to gradually get out of his sleep from Tuesday.
"The results of the previous reviews were so good that the medical team has initiated today (Tuesday) the recovery phase of Hans Grugger," said the Austrian ski federation said in a statement.
This procedure will take place over several days, however. Once Grugger has regained consciousness, neurological examinations will be made more thorough.
Grugger has suffered a serious head injury by falling to the receipt of the first jump during downhill training in Kitzbuhel World Cup last Thursday.
Helicopter to hospital in Innsbruck, the rider of 29 years had been operated for several hours at the head, in addition to having suffered broken ribs and lung damage.
