Service restored quickly on the green line

The subway service, which was to be interrupted between Berri and Viau until 10am on Sunday morning due to construction work, returned sooner than expected.
The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) was able to recharge the stretch and hit the green line to restore full service as soon as 6:50 am. A temporary bus service has ensured the movement of users opening the subway until then.
This interruption was necessitated by the failure on Thursday, one of two electrical cables responsible for lighting and power to certain appliances, such as moving stairs and the bounds of perception, Frontenac stations, Papineau and Beaudry.

Preparations have been made on the night of Friday to Saturday and cable replacement was done in the night from Saturday to Sunday.
